About Me
I grew up in a rural area in New Jersey, a town next to the Delaware River. I went to Solebury, a Quaker-based high school, and graduated with a B.A. from Sarah Lawrence College.
Early in my career, I worked in New York at the book publishing company G.P. Putnam’s Sons, and then as an editor and writer at a couple of national publications, such as Family Circle, which was owned by The New York Times and had a circulation of five million readers.
After I moved to Los Angeles with my husband, I was an editor at several Weider Publications which included Living Fit magazine. I was a literary agent for a time, then went on to work at the Orange County Register, Vegetarian Times and others.
As a freelance writer, I’ve covered health, food, travel, fitness and gardening.
I thoroughly enjoy the eclectic variety of my work.
